Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro: The Game-Changer in Wearable Tech – Full Review Inside!

Xiaomi has switched to using Google’s Wear OS for their Watch 2 Pro, and it’s now a strong competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Xiaomi’s watch comes in two versions: a Bluetooth model for €270 and an LTE-ready one for €330. In comparison, Samsung’s watch costs over €400.

You can choose the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro in either Black with a special strap or Silver with a leather strap. It also comes with Xiaomi’s unique wireless charger. The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has a regular 1.43-inch OLED display with good brightness. It’s enclosed in a 46mm case. Xiaomi chose the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Plus chip, which means the Watch 2 Pro will receive updates and runs smoothly and quickly.

On the right side of the watch, there’s a turning crown with two buttons. The crown is easy to turn, and tapping it brings up the app grid. Scrolling up and down on it moves the grid, making it easy to use, although not as smooth as Samsung’s rotating bezel. Xiaomi added some impressive features to the Watch 2 Pro, like a skin temperature sensor, a body composition sensor (previously only found on Samsung’s Galaxy Watch series), and a dual-frequency GPS, which is similar to more expensive Garmin watches.

Finally, the Watch 2 Pro has a powerful 495mAh battery, which is even bigger than the one in the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Xiaomi claims it can last up to 65 hours on a single charge in Bluetooth-only mode, which is impressive for a Wear OS device. We’ll thoroughly test its performance in our review, so stay tuned!
